What AI is used for here

• The AITP wordmark was generated with an AI image model and then credentialed. Its file carries a C2PA content credential recording that origin and VERA's signature. We say so on the page that shows it.
• Draft copy on this site may be prepared with AI assistance. Every sentence is reviewed and approved by a person before publication. Nothing on this site is published unread.
• AI-visibility measurements shown in VERA records are produced by querying AI systems. They are labeled as measurement and carry their own timestamps.

What AI never decides

• Whether an entity is verified. Verification is performed by V-Verify's process and reviewed by people. AI output is never the basis of a verification status.
• Whether a record is issued, renewed, superseded or expired. Those are recorded acts by the authority, signed under its key.
• Pricing, refunds or the outcome of any application. You pay for the record and its renewal, never for the outcome.

How AI-derived material is labeled

Anything produced by an AI system and shown to you is labeled as AI-generated or as a measurement, with a date. A signed record states what was verified, by whom and when. It never asserts that a claim is true.

Crawling and machine access

This site is written to be read by machines. Crawlers and answer engines may index it under the terms in robots.txt. A machine-readable summary is at llms.txt. Records resolve at /api/resolve, cache-only, with the verification key at /api/resolve/meta.
